Independent reviewer board in development.

What the board is for

A publication that examines evidence should be examined in turn. The editorial board exists so that reviews published here can be read by clinicians and methodologists who did not write them, and so that readers can see exactly who did that reading.

How review will be recorded

When a board member reviews an article, their name, credentials, discipline, affiliations, disclosed conflicts, and the specific article they reviewed will be recorded here and on the article itself. Until that happens, articles are labelled author-reviewed evidence synthesis or editorial review — never peer reviewed. See Review Methods.

Who we are looking for

Four to six working clinicians and academics, chosen for the seriousness of their reading rather than the prestige of their titles — including, as a priority, a methodology and biostatistics editor. Recruitment begins once the publication is running on a consistent schedule.
