Mission

To translate dental research into decisions a clinician can actually make — examining the evidence on questions that change treatment, stating plainly how certain we are, and saying what should change in practice as a result.

Vision

An independent clinical publication that practicing dentists trust the way they trust a good colleague: rigorous enough to withstand scrutiny, useful enough to act on, and honest enough to say when the literature does not settle the question.

What that requires

Independence from commercial interests, visible methods and sources, a clear separation between evidence and interpretation, an explicit account of uncertainty, and public corrections when we get something wrong. These are set out in full in Editorial Standards and Review Methods.

What we are not building

Not a news feed, not a product-coverage outlet, not a continuing-education mill, and not a marketing channel for any practice or company. Twenty exceptional articles are worth more than three hundred ordinary ones, and the publishing schedule is built on that assumption.
